Getting Involved

  • Student Organizations are created and run by current UMBC students and offer a wide array of opportunities to get involved in your campus and local communities.
  • SGA (Student Government Association) – Located on the second floor of The Commons, in the Student Organization area this is the governing student body for the Undergraduate community.
  • GSA (Graduate Student Association) – Located in Room 308 of The Commons, this is the governing student body for the Graduate community.
  • Service Opportunities – There are plenty of opportunity for students to provide service, including assisting with Blood Drives, Alternate Spring Break and many others!
  • (seb) (Student Events Board) – The Student Events Board is a board of Undergraduate students responsible for student programming on campus, including events such as concerts, movies, and Quadmania!
  • Events happening on Campus – Events happening around campus: join a club, see a movie, attend a lecture, get involved!
