Are you a student interested in turning your creative passion into a profession? Join us for the Arts & Industry: Building Your Creative Career event, an evening designed to help you explore careers in the arts, connect with creative professionals, and gain insights from successful alumni!

AGENDA

  • 4 PM: Explore the latest CADVC Exhibit: Featuring the work of UMBC's very own Intermedia and Digital Arts Master's Program artists, experience "The Only Way Out Is Throughthesis exhibition. Closing to the public on April 12, this will be a last chance to view their inspiring works! MFA artists include:

    • McCoy Clarence '19, Communication and Media Studies and Music Technology
    • Ahlam Khamis
    • Ghazal Mojtahedi
    • Alexi Scheiber, RTKL fellowship recipient
    • Mariia Usova
  • 4:30 PM Alumni Career Panel: Hear from UMBC graduates working in various areas of the arts. Learn about their journeys, challenges, and advice for aspiring creatives. Highlighted panelists below:

This event is coordinated in partnership with the UMBC Office of Alumni Engagement

UMBC's Career Month is an opportunity for all students from first year to PhD to explore their professional options through workshops, alumni chats, industry fairs, employer site visits, and more.

This is a "must-attend" Career Month event for arts students looking to expand your network and career opportunities!
