PREPARING FOR THE IN-PERSON FAIR
- Bring plenty copies of your resume to share with recruiters or hiring managers.
- Professional dress is required (or military uniform)
- Be sure to view company listing and job vacancy information prior to attending the event.
- Be prepared. Remember, not all companies will be participating in-person, so plan ahead to meet your targeted companies both in-person and online.
- If more information is needed on targeted companies, take the time to visit their websites.
PREPARING FOR THE VIRTUAL FAIR
- To participate online, all you will need is a computer, laptop, or phone with good internet connection.
- Training video is accessible after logging in via URL link (above).
- Remember, not all companies will be participating online, so plan ahead to meet your targeted companies both online and in-person. If unable to attend in-person, be sure to have your resume included in the database by registering and posting/linking resume to the event.
- Be familiar with companies participating online. Review job vacancies prior to chatting.
- Video chats are optional for companies. Be prepared. Companies may request a video chat.
