The Department of Correction and Rehabilitation will be holding a one-day hiring event on Saturday, March 5th at the Public Safety Headquarter in Gaithersburg, MD for the Correctional Officer position. The minimum qualifications to be a Correctional Officer are below:
- Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or resident alien
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Possess a valid Class C driver’s license
- High School diploma (or G.E.D.)
- One year of post high school work experience
- Fluent in English
- Must Register by Applying Online
