Description
Diversity in leadership has never been more important. In the divisive world we find ourselves in, it is pivotal that we step up and lead our communities towards a brighter future. This LeaderShop will empower the queer community at UMBC towards becoming strong leaders.
This Leadershop will talk about the importance of authentic leadership and address how to use your identity to strengthen your leadership skills. You don’t have to leave your queerness at the door to become an empowered leader! Bringing it with you can actually make an even bigger impact.
To register for this session, click “Going” on the myUMBC event page! Room info will be sent by email and will also be posted to the myUMBC event page.
The LEADERSHOPS series consists of workshops that focus on various student centered leadership-related topics facilitated by Campus Life staff and student leaders. This program aims to contribute to the leadership development and ongoing learning of UMBC undergraduate students.
If you’re having trouble registering, just email kmonroy102@umbc.edu to be added to the participant list.
