Description
What is it?
This program allows early-career science and engineering students to learn how to design medical devices for developing country contexts, using scenarios from sub-Saharan Africa. Participants will work in teams in this hands-on workshop to design a product for limited resource settings with coaching from international mentors.
Who can attend?
Undergraduate students in STEM programs at a college or university in the Delaware region, interested in learning more about design processes, biomedical engineering, bioengineering, and global health. No design or international experience is necessary. This is an interdisciplinary event and any undergrad enthusiastic to learn and contribute to teamwork is welcome to apply.
