Meet & Greet to Connect Technical Talent to State Agencies

Description
In collaboration with the state of Maryland, the Maryland Institute of Innovative Computing and The Maryland Technology Internship Program are fully funding state agencies to hire technical interns for the summer semester. This program incentivizes state agencies to hire technical interns by funding intern salary costs and providing additional hiring and payroll support.
This event will be in person at the UMBC Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena (formerly known as UMBC Event Center) on April 1st from 12:00-1:30 pm. You must RSVP to this event.
Interns will be paid $17/hour through this program. The timeline for summer 2022 will be June 1, 2022- August 26, 2022. During the summer, interns can work full time and are required to work a minimum of 120 hours. Position descriptions will be posted in UMBCWorks shortly.
