Join the NIA Small Business Research Programs for a pre-application webinar on April 20, 2022, at 2 p.m. ET. This webinar will provide prospective applicants with an overview of the new challenge competition and bootcamp, including eligibility, application requirements, application guidance, tips for success, and the NIA Small Business Research priorities designed for the program. Participants will be able to meet with NIA Small Business Research experts and participate in a Q&A to get more information about the challenge.

Who Should Attend?
Individuals and teams with a demonstrated need for entrepreneur resources and support who have an innovative idea for a science-driven technology or product that aligns with the NIA small business research priorities are strongly encouraged to attend:
  • Applicants from racial and ethnic groups that are underrepresented in health-related sciences on a national basis, individuals with disabilities, and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Applicants developing a product or technology to address the unique needs of older adults from minority and/or medically underserved populations


This event is facilitated by the organization and open to the general public. It is not hosted or organized by the UMBC Career Center.
