AMEWAS, Inc. is a mid-sized Defense Contracting company delivering quality Engineering and Technical Services to the Department of Defense. Employing engineers, technicians, software developers, IT professionals, and a host of military subject matter experts, AMEWAS is central to the development, testing, and fielding of our military’s most advanced weapons systems. Our mission is to provide our warfighters the tools they need to protect America.
AMEWAS develops and uses many advanced Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools which provide test environments not normally available in any other form. Testing Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) on an F/A-18 Hornet or simulating a combat environment in the Navy’s anechoic chamber requires some of the brightest minds and best talent available. Our employees touch the most advanced military systems in the world and are part of ensuring they operate as designed. A major focus area today is developing and fielding the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE), a scalable, expandable, high fidelity hardware/software modeling and simulation environment used to conduct testing and training for the F-35A/B/C Lightning II. This 5th Generation fighter supports military operations for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and a host of other partner nations.
AMEWAS is currently seeking software programmers and software engineering talent (C++ and/or Python experience) to take the JSE to the next level to create a world-class Testing and Training environment for our military. Come join the team that Makes a Difference!
