Grad School 101 is a FREE conference for UMBC students that will guide you through the challenges and put a plan in motion.

Drafting a personal statement can be a tricky part of the application process. During this session, you will learn about what schools look for in a statement, and understand the structure of what a personal statement should include. In addition, you will learn the basics of asking for a letter of recommendation.
