Description

You've probably heard that networking is important, even necessary for landing a job. But if the very thought of networking makes your palms sweaty, you are not alone!

That's why the Career Center and the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences have teamed up to host the 7th Annual CAHSS Career Connection Social (registration required).

Students of ALL class levels and liberal arts majors are invited! Here's what you need to know:
  • You will have the opportunity to connect and practice your networking skills with amazing UMBC alumni and employers in a relaxed, no-pressure setting.
  • The format will be structured for "speed networking," so you'll know exactly when and who to approach.
  • The alumni and employers will be arts, humanities, and social science grads now working in a variety of professional careers. They are eager to get to know you!
  • Food will be provided.
You might even meet someone who can point you toward your next internship or job.
