Description
The Division of Student Affairs is partnering with the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights (MCCR) to provide our campus community with additional resources to better understand the civil rights protections that exist in Maryland. On Thursday, March 13 at 1 p.m., representatives from the MCCR Office of Education and Outreach will host an online (virtual) training that will include an overview of the services and responsibilities of MCCR, discuss Maryland’s protected classes, and share information about the complaint and investigation process, current statistics and trends related to civil rights issues in the state.
This workshop is open to all students, faculty, and staff members and is encouraged for anyone seeking additional information or resources about civil rights protections available to Marylanders. Hope you can join us!
