Senior Success Seminar

Will you be graduating from UMBC in December 2015 or May 2016?  Do you realize that the heaviest recruitment season will begin in October?  Spend a Friday afternoon with us and be prepared to face this critical time with confidence!

The annual Senior Success Seminar will be offered by the Career Center on Friday, September 18 from noon until 5:00 pm in the University Center Ballroom.

This workshop will prepare participants to take advantage of the on-campus interview program (application deadlines start mid-September) and maximize UMBCworks (our web-based job posting system), career fairs, UMBC Connects visibility days and other networking events designed to move your job search forward.

Included in the seminar will be advice on making a lasting first impression, successful interviewing skills, and methods to fully utilize the services and programs offered by the Career Center to your advantage.  This seminar will tell you everything you need to know to find a job before graduation -- all in one place, all during this one Friday afternoon!

Please note, there will be no charge to UMBC students who are able to register on a first-come first-serve basis. By registering and not attending, you may be preventing another UMBC student from participating and causing the Career Center to incur monetary expenses as the sponsor of this event. I am aware that should I fail to cancel my registration by close of business (5:00 pm) the Monday prior to the event (September 14, 2015), my UMBC student account will be charged a fee of $25 to cover the financial costs incurred.
