Reverse Career Fair

Did you know that most employers are looking for skill sets learned not just in the classroom but through extracurricular activities?

Are you interested in showcasing your student organization to employers who value the skills your members are developing?

The Career Center invites student organization leaders to register for the Reverse Career Fair, April 12, 2017. Remove the stress of approaching employers; let them come to you. Each registered student organization will receive a table, and attending employers will be the ones walking around the fair. You will need at least 2 representatives at your assigned table throughout the fair. We ask that your table have a display, which could be a poster, signage, pamphlets or projects that represent your organization. (Examples of projects are good ice breakers, that allow you to talk about things you know and skills you used.)

The Career Center will also be holding a Best Booth Space Contest, with a $200 cash prize to be deposited in your organization's UMBC account.

This event is free but space is limited so early registration is recommended.
