Demo Reel Do's and Don'ts with Katie Chrzanowski
5:30pm  - 6:30pm
What makes a good demo reel? What drives hiring professionals crazy? Come learn what industry recruiters are looking for in a demo reel and see some examples!

Katie Chrzanowski is the Multimedia Coordinator at commonvision: UMBC's Design and Print Center. Katie is an UMBC Alumna and graduated in 2007.

Top Tools For Learning Front-end Development with Michelle Martir
7:00pm - 8:00pm
You gotta start somewhere if want to get into the tech game! Why not start today? It's become increasingly important for designers to not just communicate code, but create code as well. Michelle goes over the tools she uses in her profession, and the tools she wished she knew about when she first started.

Michelle Martir is a UX Engineer at Fractured Atlas, and freelance Product Designer and Illustrator. She graduated in 2012 from UMBC, and was previously the Multimedia Coordinator at The Commons.

Building Your Web Presence with Michael Muccioli
8:30pm - 9:30pm
You're about ready to graduate but you still don't have a web portfolio? Let's fix that. In this short workshop, we'll talk about the in's and out's of what it takes to get yourself noticed online. From making sure that it's really you that comes up in google search results to some tips and tricks on how to use LinkedIn as a designer—we'll make sure that you are ready to go when you send out that link for your next job interview.

Michael Muccioli is a Digital Designer at Exit10, he graduated from UMBC in 2013.
