After completing a PhD in Information Systems at UMBC, Zhensen wanted to figure out how to use technology to improve people’s lives. In 2012, while leading a difficult IT project, he realized he could add greater value by pulling together smart people and helping them to work together effectively. So Zhensen started a small business venture, attracted top talent to his mission, and now has over 120 employees working in a dynamic, collaborative work culture with a vision to serve as a connective force among government, industry, and academia.
