Description
Listen to and engage with recent UMBC alums who successfully and creatively navigated through the process of choosing a major. Some of these alums were exploratory or "undecided" about their options when they began. Others made strategic transitions from their first majors into other programs that led them to graduation - great careers and post-graduate opportunities. Participants can anticipate learning about:
- decision-making strategies regarding majors & minors
- key resources that are "difference-makers" here at UMBC
- career development tips & graduate school planning recommendations.
Moderated by Ken Baron (Assistant Vice-Provost for Academic Advising & Student Success, panel members will share their stories about qualities and philosophies that propelled them forward through grit to greatness!
