Description

The HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) is one of the many programs offered to Hispanic Serving Institutions.  Since our inception, HNIP has provided over 11,000 paid internships with federal agencies and private corporations across the nation.  Our internship program matches student’s skills and background with the needs of participating federal agencies and corporations, resulting in an internship assignment that directly relates to the student’s career goals and thus allowing participating agencies and corporations to further their missions. HNIP also assists students with housing arrangements, organizes an extensive orientation in Washington, D.C., provides round-trip air travel, and arranges various professional, social and cultural activities.
While our spring internship program continues going strong, we are receiving an increasing number of requests from our federal partners for summer and fall interns. We have amazing internship opportunities during the summer and fall sessions. Therefore, we are gearing our recruiting efforts towards reaching in demand majors.
