Listen to and engage with recent UMBC alums who successfully and creatively navigated through the process of choosing a major. Some of these alums were exploratory or "undecided" about their options when they began. Others made strategic transitions from their first majors into other programs that led them to graduation - great careers and post-graduate opportunities. Panel members will share their stories about qualities and philosophies that propelled them forward through grit to greatness!

Panelists Include:

Lauren Romano, '11, B.A. American Studies
Project Manager, Let's Move LLC

Connor Michel, '15, B.S. Information Systems

  • decision-making strategies regarding majors & minors
  • key resources that are "difference-makers" here at UMBC
