Finance Industry talks are aimed to reach finance and non-finance majors in their academic studies with information about careers in the finance sector and how to prepare academically to succeed in those careers.

About the speakers:

John M. Williams is a research analyst in the U.S. Equity Division of T. Rowe Price, following food, beverage, tobacco, and household companies. He began his career at T. Rowe Price covering energy exploration and production and refining companies. He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc.

Mr. Williams has 12 years of investment experience, eight of which have
been with T. Rowe Price. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, he was a
research analyst with Legg Mason Capital Management.

Mr. Williams earned a B.S., summa cum laude, in financial economics
from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and is a member of
Phi Beta Kappa. He also received his M.B.A., with concentrations in finance and economics, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  Mr. Williams has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation

Joseph N. Stevens is an Area Vice President and Area Assistant Director
with the Institutional Investment & Fiduciary Services practice of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Gallagher Fiduciary Advisors, LLC (“Gallagher”). He is
responsible for working directly with clients on asset allocation, manager due diligence, investment performance analysis and attribution, stock research and various other investment related projects. He serves as a member of the U.S. Equity research team.

The Institutional Investment & Fiduciary Services practice of Arthur J.
Gallagher & Co. (Gallagher Fiduciary Advisors, LLC), focuses on improving the investment program of your benefit plan and other investment pools.  The practice is comprised of established, proven investment professionals who provide objective insights, analysis and oversight on asset allocation, investment managers, and investment risks, along with fiduciary responsibility for investment decisions as an independent fiduciary or outsourced CIO.
