Description

Presented by:  Kristen Hyland, T. Rowe Price
Interview Type:  Behavioral Based Interviews

Behavioral interview questions focus on how you handled various work situations in the past. Your response will reveal your skills, abilities, and personality. The logic behind this interview tactic is that your behavior in the past reflects and predicts how you will behave in the future.

To help students prepare for upcoming internship and full-time opportunity interviews, the Career Center has developed a series of workshops that will focus on various types of interviews.

Because employers utilize various interview protocols, we encourage you to attend as many of these workshops as possible, each touching on a different interview topic.

Please note: UMBC is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors.  If you would like to request accommodations (e.g., ASL interpreters, captioning, wheelchair access, etc.) for this event due to a disability, please notify us at least two weeks prior to the event. Requests received after that time cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our best to make arrangements for program access. Please contact the event host (careers@umbc.edu) with your specific request and be sure to include the event title, date, and time.
