We are the US Navy’s primary research and engineering laboratory for design, hydrodynamics, structures, survivability, signatures, materials, and environmental quality of ships, submarines, small craft, and unmanned surface & underwater vehicles.  Our engineers and scientists are world renown in their fields.  We have state-of-the-art experimental, testing and engineering capabilities.
