Regal Beloit Corporation (NYSE: RBC) is a leading manufacturer of electric motors, electrical motion controls, power generation, and power transmission products serving markets throughout the world. The company is comprised of three operating segments: Commercial and Industrial Systems, Climate Solutions, and Power Transmission Solutions. Regal Power Transmission Solutions (PTS) reaches across a variety of industries including Oil and Gas, Metals Processing, and more.
Regal PTS is currently offering internship opportunities for Mechanical Engineering students at our Couplings Engineering Design center located south of Baltimore in Linthicum, MD – just 10 minutes from the UMBC campus. The positions available include both design and commercial application engineering.
These positions involve assisting engineers and customers with the design and application of mechanical couplings and u-joints used in industrial power transmission applications. In doing so, on the design side students will have the opportunity to apply their engineering knowledge and problem solving skills into designs using 2D and 3D CAD packages. On the commercial side, students will be able to work with Engineering and Marketing to develop technical proposals for engineered products and contribute to a wide variety of technical and commercial projects.
Please bring your resumes and dress professionally (business casual is acceptable).
