Description

Children Achieving Maximum Potential, Inc. is hiring special needs instructors to work with adolescents and young adults in their homes and communities.

Our Special Needs Instructors provide individuals with autism and related disorders comprehensive science-based treatments through intensive individualized instruction. (1:1 Therapeutic Aide)

Our goal is for individuals with autism and related disorders to learn to communicate effectively, become increasingly independent, interact appropriately with others in the community and their home, enjoy their learning experiences, and to be treated with respect, courtesy and dignity.

We love working with students of various majors! Please stop by our information table to learn more about our opportunities. We provide paid part-time positions, and we can provide paid internships for academic credit!

Please Note: UMBC is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors.  If you would like to request accommodations (e.g., ASL interpreters, captioning, wheelchair access, etc.) for this event due to a disability, please notify us at least two weeks prior to the event. Requests received after that time cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our best to make arrangements for program access. Please contact the event host (careers@umbc.edu) with your specific request and be sure to include the event title, date, and time.
