UMBC Connects: Kennedy Krieger

This is your chance to get up close and personal to recruiters from Kennedy Krieger Institute to learn about career opportunities.

Stop by and have lunch with UMBC alumni and recruiters currently working at Kennedy Krieger Institute.  Alumni will share their personal experience during a panel discussion that will begin shortly after Noon.

Located in Baltimore, MD, Kennedy Krieger Institute is an internationally recognized institution dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with pediatric developmental disabilities and disorders of the brain, spinal cord and musculoskeletal system, through patient care, special education, research, and professional training.

Kennedy Krieger Institute's Neurobehavioral Unit (NBU) is an inpatient facility dedicated to assessing and treating behavior disorders in children with developmental disabilities. They are seeking applicants interested in helping these children reach their potential. Duties include providing patient supervision and implementing behavioral and educational protocols. This is a great opportunity to learn about state-of-the-art behavioral therapies. Day, evening, weekend or night shifts may be available.

The UMBC Connects series offers students and alumni the opportunity to meet with recruiters from companies and government agencies that are interested in recruiting UMBC talent. This is your opportunity to interact with individuals that may be able to land you that perfect internship or job.

Come when you are able, there is no need to stay for the entire event.  Program details will be announced as date approaches.
