Description

We cordially invite your organization to Genentech’s Campus Engagement Week from November 2-6, 2020, every day from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM EST/ 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM PDT. Genentech's Campus Engagement Week is an event intended to provide students from non-traditional and underrepresented backgrounds insight into Genentech’s mission and culture, and also provide opportunities to hear from senior leaders and employees. We will also share information about the process to land Internship and Rotation Program opportunities.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, September 30, 2020. All applications received will be reviewed and selected students will be notified by Friday, October 9, 2020.

If the following applies to you, please join us!

  • A STEM background and have completed at least their first year of university
  • Availability to work in the Bay Area for summer 2021 as well as other locations (Oceanside, CA, Vacaville, CA and Hillsboro, *Depending on COVID-19 guidelines in 2021*)
  • Strong academic achievements and performance
  • Strong personal character, leadership experience, and communication skills
  • Previous work/intern experience
  • Interest in biotechnology as a career
This event is intended to be an inclusive approach to encourage students from a variety of personal and academic backgrounds to apply for Internships and Rotation Program opportunities. In addition to Campus Engagement Week from November 2-6, 2020, we will be holding professional development workshops to help set students up for success as they navigate their careers. On October 13, 15, and 16, we will be holding Genentech 101, resume building, and interview skills workshops so that students will feel prepared for Campus Engagement Week.
