UMBC Alumni are returning to share their experiences and strategies for making the most of your time at UMBC.

John Higgins ‘06 information systems

Ben  Kegel ‘06 computer science

Benjamin Kegel is a Software Architect with Envistacom where he uses his Computer Science degree to build scalable applications that support satellite communications. Ben has supported the hiring process for both large and mid-sized companies. Ben has held several leadership positions throughout his career and he enjoys helping others reach their career goals.

Jackie Perry ‘04

Jackie received her BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from UMBC. She currently works at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab as a Section Supervisor and Harness Lead Engineer for various NASA spacecraft. She has worked on Van Allen Probes, Parker Solar Probe and is now leading the APL portion of the Europa Clipper harness efforts.
