Ali El-Annan, Head of Technology (Presenter/Panelist)
Ali El-Annan is the Head of Technology at The State of Wisconsin Investment Board which includes multiple divisions including Data Science, Reporting, Business Systems, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Infrastructure, Design and Development and more at the 9th largest pension fund in the U.S. managing technology staff for the 120 billion+ fund. Mr. El-Annan has held positions such as quantitative researcher, portfolio manager, and data scientist amongst other leadership roles at the largest asset managers and one of the first fintech’s which had the largest IPO of 2014. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He is passionate about teaching, community, volunteering, and learning.
