Date & Time

October 10, 2025, 11:00 am12:00 pm

Description

Executive functions are things we do daily that help us get things done, like making lists, managing a schedule, and setting reminders.  Workshop attendees will work on developing skills to overcome barriers to success, including time management, task prioritization/implementation, motivation and self-accountability.

Session 1 focuses on metacognition, time management, and flexibility.

This is a non-clinical series provided by Retriever Integrated Health, so no appointments or consultations are required and any UMBC community member can join this in-person session!  If you can only make 1 or 2 of the workshops, that's ok too.

If you have any questions, please email the workshop facilitators, Aminah Wells (amwells@umbc.edu) or Janay White (jwhite23@umbc.edu).

If you need accommodations for a disability, please contact Stephanie Will (swill1@umbc.edu) at least one week prior to the start of the workshop and RIH will arrange for services.

This event is open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
